Recall: 2nd Conference of Internationalisation Networks and Agencies in Europe (Farnesina, 21 November 2014)

Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni will participate in the 2nd Conference of Internationalisation Networks and Agencies in Europe on 21 November at 9:30 at the Farnesina.


Other participants will include Minister for Education, Universities and Research Stefania Giannini, Deputy Minister for the Interior Filippo Bubbico and President of Uni-Italia Cesare Romiti.


The conference of Networks and Agencies for the Internationalisation of the European University System was organised for the first time in Italy in 2012 by Uni-Italia and took place at the Farnesina.


Subsequently, on the Ministry’s proposal, an annual event was launched conceived to foster encounter between the main European agencies for university internationalisation and Italian universities and institutions.


The annual conference aims to generate useful suggestions for improving and integrating the promotion of the Italian and European academic systems, and to promote the attraction of students, especially from emerging nations, by this ministry and other public and private institutions.


Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:


– complete the interactive form available athttp://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp


– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format


Required documentation:


– a letter from your media organisation


– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.


If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your applicationby fax, on your media organisation’s letterhead, to the Foreign Ministry’s Press and Institutional Communication Service (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).


Accredited members of the press will be admitted at the main entrance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – left side – from 8:45 onward.
