Accreditation Notice: International conference on Libya (Farnesina, 13 December 2015)

An International Conference on Libya will take place at the Farnesina at 10.00 on Sunday 13 December 2015.

At the end of the event, a joint press conference is scheduled with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, the Secretary of State of the United States of America, John Kerry, and the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Libya, Martin Kobler.

A tour de table is also planned at the start of the proceedings, for photographers and TV crews only.

Online accreditation system.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:

– complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp

– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format

 Required digital documentation:

– a letter from your media organisation

– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.

Applications must be submitted no later than 13.00 on Saturday 12 December.

If you are unable to complete the online accreditation procedure, please send your application by email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Press and Institutional Communication Service, address accreditamentostampa@esteri.it“>accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210).

Accredited media representatives should enter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the rear entrance in via Macchia della Farnesina according to the following schedule:

  • from 08.30  to 9.15 for the tour de table (photographers and TV crews only)
  • from 11.30 to 12.30 for the press conference (journalists, photographers and TV crews)

 

Please note, as of now, that for logistical reasons it may be necessary to create a pool of photographers and TV crews for the tour de table
