On Tuesday, February 16 at 11:00 am, at the Baths of Diocletian in Rome – Hall X, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni will attend a ceremony to mark the activation of the ‘Unite for Heritage’ Italian Task Force, created to protect cultural heritage sites. The event will also be attended by Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism Dario Franceschini, Minister of Defence, Roberta Pinotti, Minister of Education, University and Research Stefania Giannini, Carabinieri Commander General Tullio Del Sette, and UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova. Mayor of Turin Piero Fassino will also participate and, on the sidelines of the Ceremony, he will sign an international agreement with UNESCO for the establishment of a new training centre in Turin.
