MEDIA ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Recall – CHANGE IN SCHEDULE – Ceremony for the activation of the ‘Unite for Heritage’ Italian Task Force, created to protect cultural heritage (Baths of Diocletian, February 16, 2016)

The ceremony to mark the activation of the ‘Unite for Heritage’ Italian Task Force, established to protect cultural heritage sites, has been postponed to 11:45 am on Tuesday, February 16 at the Baths of Diocletian in Rome – Hall X.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews should enter the premises from the entrance at Viale Enrico de Nicola, 79, Rome from 10:00 am onwards.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni will attend the ceremony together with Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism Dario Franceschini, Minister of Defence Roberta Pinotti, Minister of Education, University and Research Stefania Giannini, Carabinieri Commander General Tullio Del Sette and UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova.

On the sidelines of the event an international agreement will be signed with UNESCO for the establishment of a new training centre in Turin. Mayor of Turin Piero Fassino will participate in the signing ceremony.
