ACCREDITATION NOTICE – Reminder: Seminar on “Redefining Intercultural Dialogue in Time of Crisis: A Mediterranean Perspective” (Farnesina, 8 September 2016)

On 8 September at 4:45 p.m. the Farnesina will host a seminar on “Redefining Intercultural Dialogue in Time of Crisis: a Mediterranean Perspective”. The Seminar is organised by the Institute for International Affairs (IAI) in collaboration with the Italian Network for the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue (RIDE), which leads the network of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) in Italy. The seminar, moderated by Khalid Chaoucki, Chairman of the Culture Committee of the PA UfM (Union for the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly) will focus on redefining intercultural dialogue in times of crisis from a Mediterranean perspective. The seminar’s agenda includes opening speeches by Ettore Greco, Director of the Institute for International Affairs, Pasquale Ferrara, Italy’s Ambassador Designate to Algiers and Élisabeth Guigou, President of the Anna Lindh  Foundation. Caroline Robertson-von Trotha from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Basem Ra’ad from Jerusalem Al-Quds University and Enrico Molinaro representing the Italian Network for the Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue (RIDE), will contribute to the debate .   Enzo Amendola, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Hatem Atallah, Executive Director of the  Anna Lindh Foundation, will close the seminar at 6:45 p.m. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for online accreditation by completing the interactive form at the following link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Nota Verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of the media organisation’s country).  If it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications should be sent by email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel: +39 06/36913432 or 06/36913070). Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews can enter through the main entrance, left-hand side, at 4:15 p.m.
