PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE – Conference “EU60: Re-founding Europe, the Responsibility to Propose”

On Monday 20 March, at 9:30 am, the Farnesina will be hosting the Conference “EU60: Re-founding Europe, the Responsibility to Propose”, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in cooperation with the Institute for International Affairs (IAI).The opening speech at the Conference, organized within the framework of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome, will be delivered by Michele Baiano, Deputy Secretary General of the Farnesina, and by the president of IAI, Ferdinando Nelli Feroci, followed by the contribution by Benedetto della Vedova, Undesecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.The event will be attended by Sandro Gozi, Under-Secretary for European Affairs in the Office of the Italian Prime Minister, who will deliver his speech at about 1:00 pm.The conclusions will be drawn by Fabrizio Bucci, Deputy Director General and Central Director for European Integration and by Ettore Greco, Director of IAI.The program of the conference is available at the following link: http://www.iai.it/sites/default/files/eu60_170320.pdfJournalists and cameramen interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:

–    by filling the interactive form at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).   

 –   by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews can collect their accreditation badges at the main entrance of the Ministry , left-hand side, from 9:00 am.
