On Friday 21 April, at 1:30 pm, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Argentina, Susana Malcorra at the Farnesina.
“Argentina has always been our special point of reference in Latin America. Considering that over 40% of the Argentinian population is of Italian descent, the relations between Argentina and Italy are very intense and complex extending through all sectors, from the political to the economic, cultural and academic fields. The inauguration of President Macri has started an intensive exchange of high-level bilateral visits,” said Minister Alfano, in the run-up to the talks.
At the end of the meeting, the Joint Italy-Agentina Committee will meet to approve the minutes and sign them.
Subsequently, the Foreign Ministers will hold a joint press point.
