Press accreditation notice – Launch of “Fare Cinema” (Rome, Cinecittà Studios, 3 May 2018)

“Fare Cinema” will be launched on 3 May 2018 at 6:00 p.m., at Cinecittà Studios, the first week of Italian cinema in the world.

The programme includes a visit to historical sets at 6.00 p.m.

“Fare Cinema” will be introduced at 7.00 p.m. by Roberto Cicutto, President of Istituto Luce Cinecittà, followed by presentations by Francesco Rutelli, President of ANICA (National Association of Cinematographic, Audiovisual and Multimedia Industries) Vincenzo de Luca, Director General for the Promotion of the Italian Economic System of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Nicola Borrelli Director General for Cinema of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is promoting the “Fare Cinema” project to encourage quality Italian cinematographic production abroad, with the support of the diplomatic-consular network and the Italian Cultural Institutes.  The ambitious project, in association with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT), also interacts with public and private parties in the world of cinema, especially ANICA and the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà. It will be held between 21 and 27 May 2018, involve all cinema-related jobs and 100 testimonials will be given in 100 foreign cities. 

Representatives from the world of cinema will take part, including Gabriella Pescucci, and Paolo Genovese.

The conference will all be open to the press and ends at 8.30 p.m.
