On Monday, 16 April at 6:00 p.m., the “Italian Research Day in the World” will be celebrated at the Farnesina, together with the inauguration of the exhibition “Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge”. Both events are promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
The conference will open with remarks by Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, and by Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Valeria Fedeli.
Following the introductory remarks, contributions will be delivered by the President of the Council of Presidents of Public Research Bodies, Massimo Inguscio; the President of the Conference of Italian University Rectors, Gaetano Manfredi; the President of Confindustria’s Technical Research and Development Group, Daniele Finocchiaro; and the Italian Commissioner-General at Expo Dubai 2020, Paolo Glisenti.
At the end of the Roundtable “Telling Italian Science and Technology in the World”, the concluding address will be by the Head of the Department of Higher Education and Research at MIUR, Marco Mancini, followed by the presentation of the exhibition “Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge”.
