Press accreditation notice – Presentation of “Seeds&Chips – The Global Food Innovation Summit” (Farnesina, 12 April 2018)​

On Thursday, 12 April, at 11:00 a.m. the Farnesina will host the Presentation of “Seeds&Chips – The Global Food Innovation Summit”.

The event will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, the Undersecretary at the Office of the President of the Regional Council of Lombardy, Alan Rizzi and the founder of Seeds&Chips, Marco Gualtieri.

The session will continue with contributions by Giorgio Marrapodi, Director General for Development Cooperation of the Foreign Ministry, Diana Battaggia, the Director of UNIDO ITPO Italia, Livia Pomodoro, President of the Milan Center for Food Law and Policy, Francesco Loreto, Director of the Department of Bio Agro-food Sciences of the National Research Centre (CNR) and Roberto Ridolfi from FAO.

The event will be moderated by the Director General for Economic and Cultural Promotion and Innovation, Vincenzo de Luca.

The Seeds&Chips event, which will be held in May in Milan, is a project with a distinctively global vocation and represents the most important international show dedicated to the theme of innovation in agri-food production chains. The event aims to promote innovation in the agri-food sector with a view to directing the world food production system towards greater sustainability in the future.

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:

–    by filling the interactive form and clicking on the event concerned at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the documentation requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country).    

–   by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (Tel. + 39 06/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s Country.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance – left-hand side – from 10:30 a.m.
