The “Italy – Latvia: 100 years of friendship” multimedia exhibition will be presented on Thursday, 28 June 2018, at 12.30 p.m.
Opening remarks will be made by the Latvian Ambassador in Rome, Article Bertulis, with presentations also by the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Emanuela Del Re, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Elisabetta Belloni and the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Andrejs Pildegovics. The director of the Latvian State Archive, Aiga Bērziņa, will bring the event to a close.
The exhibition will be followed by a symbolic cutting of the ribbon and a short guided visit to the exhibition.
Journalists, photographers and TV crews who wish to attend should apply for accreditation by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s Institutional Press and Communication Service at:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06/3691.3432-8573-8210), attaching the letter of their media organisation (or press card for journalists) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation’s country.
The accreditation badges must be collected in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance – left-hand side – from 12.00 p.m.
