Press accreditation notice – Refresher – Presentation of the Annual Report “China in 2018 – Scenarios and perspectives for businesses” (Farnesina, 18 July 2018)

On Wednesday, 18 July 2018, at 10:30 a.m., the Farnesina will host the presentation of the Annual Report “China in 2018 – Scenarios and perspectives for businesses”, now at its ninth edition.  

The Report, drafted by the Centre of Corporate Studies of the Italy China Foundation (CeSIF), surveys the political and economic scenarios and how to access the business sector in China, with an in-depth analysis of the sectors of greatest interest for Italian companies and of the investment opportunities for Chinese businesses in Italy.    

The presentation will open with remarks by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Elisabetta Belloni, who will be followed by the newly-elected President of the Italy China Foundation, Alberto Bombassei, by Ettore Francesco Sequi, the Italian Ambassador in China (in video conference), by Li Ruiyu, the Chinese Ambassador in Italy, by Francesco Rutelli, the President of the Italy-China Cultural Forum and by Francesco Palumbo, Director General for Tourism at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT).  

The debate will be moderated by Nicola Lener, Deputy Director General for Internationalisation at the MAECI and Virman Cusenza, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper Il Messaggero.  

The Presentation will also include contributions by Filippo Fasulo, Scientific Coordinator of the CeSIF, Enrico Toti, Head of the China Desk NCTM and Eugenio Raffaelli from Diacron.

Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance – left-hand side – from 10:00 a.m.
