On Wednesday, 24 October 2018, at 9.00 a.m., the Farnesina will host the conference on “Transition towards renewable energies in Africa: what implications?“.
A session dedicated to Renewable energy in Africa will follow with speeches by Amani About-Zeid, Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy (African Union), Vera Songwe, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and Antonio Cammisecra, CEO of Enel Green Power and President of “Res4Med&Africa”. The session will be followed by the signing of a letter of intent for the “Capacity building programme in renewable energy” between the African Union and Res4Africa and by a press conference by Amani About-Zeid, Vera Songwe and Antonio Cammisecra.
