On Tuesday, 27 November at 4.30 p.m.,the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host a conference entitled “Indici e reputazione: strategie per l’attrattività a confronto” (Indices and Reputation: comparing attractiveness strategies). The event, which is part of the activities promoting the “Global Attractiveness Index-GAI” developed by The European House – Ambrosetti (TEH-A), aims to provide an in-depth discussion about the relationship between a Country’s image and its position on the main international rankings.
The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Manlio di Stefano will make the opening address. It will be followed by contributions by Giandomenico Magliano, Coordinator of Investment Attraction Strategies and Positioning on International Rankings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Fabrizio Lucentini, Director General for Internationalisation and Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Economic Development, Roberto Torrini, Director of the Structural Economic Analysis Department of the Bank of Italy, Stefano Nigro, FDI Department Director, Italian Trade Agency – ICE and Eugenio Sidoli, Coordinator of the Foreign Investors Advisory Board of Confindustria and Chairperson and CEO of Philip Morris Italia.
The day’s agenda will continue with the presentation of the “Global Attractiveness Index” 2018 Report by Valerio de Molli, Managing Partner and CEO of The European House – Ambrosetti, and follow with contributions by Reenat Sandhu, the Ambassador of India, Jasen Mesic, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, June Chepchirchir, Chargée d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya and Agnieszka Hoppen-Klikowicz, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.
Vincenzo De Luca, Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, will chair the event.
