On Friday, 25 January 2019 the Farnesina will host the 9th Meeting of the Italy-China Government Committee, the principal forum to give impulse and political orientation to the Italian-Chinese strategic partnership, chaired by the respective Ministers of Foreign Affairs, which has been coordinating the articulate sectoral cooperation between the two Countries since 2004.
The Plenary Session will take place from 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. and schedules remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi and by the State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi.
At the close of the Plenary Session, the two Ministers of the Foreign Affairs will make a Joint Statement.
The proceedings of the Plenary Session will be open to the press.
