On Wednesday 3 June 2020, at 18.00, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, will meet the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Jean-Yves Le Drian, at the Palazzo della Farnesina, the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the end of the meeting, the two Ministers will hold a joint press conference.
Because of the current legislation on social distancing, a limited number of press representatives will have access to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It will be possible to accredit only one journalist per newspaper/agency and only one film operator per TV station. The first accreditations received in order of time will be accepted.
The press conference will also be streamed live on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Journalists and accredited film photographers can access the Palazzo della Farnesina, from the main entrance, on the right side, from 5.45 p.m. and no later than 6.15 p.m., after the body temperature check. They must wear a mask and other personal protective equipment recommended by the current regulations.
A visit of the two Ministers to the Civil Protection Headquarters at 17:00 will precede the meeting at the Palazzo della Farnesina.
The visit at the Civil Protection headquarters will be permitted only to camera operators who can shoot the arrival of delegations (access to the Civil Protection premises is not allowed). In consideration of the current legislation on social distancing, places will be limited, and the first credits received will be accepted in chronological order.
Cine-photographers accredited for a visit to Civil Protection headquarters can access the Civil Protection venue from 16:00 and no later than 16:30, after the body temperature check. They must wear the mask and other personal protective equipment recommended by current regulations.
Journalists and film photographers interested in attending either the press conference or the visit at the Civil Protection headquarters, or both, may request the accreditation by 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday 3 June as follows:
