MEETING WITH THE MEDIA
ANICA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE FOREIGN MINISTRY HAS LAUNCHED THE FIRST POST-COVID INITIATIVE FOR PROMOTING THE COUNTRY IN CINEMA AND AUDIOVISUALS
FIVE AUTEUR SHORTS TO SHOWCASE ITALY’S SKILLS, BEAUTY AND COMPETITIVENESS WORLDWIDE
On Wednesday, 22 July 2020, at 11.00 am, Anica, in partnership with the Foreign Ministry launched the first Post-Covid initiative for promoting the Country in Cinema and Audiovisuals, in partnership with the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation responsible for promoting Italian language and culture abroad, Marina Sereni and the President of Anica, Francesco Rutelli.
The meeting with the media, by way of a link with the Zoom Platform at the Link , will take place to illustrate the broad and participated process and the contents of the creative workshop coordinated by ANICA, which has led to the formulation of the guidelines of the call (open from Friday 10 July 2020, with deadline on Friday 4 September).
The initiative was attended by all the Italian audiovisual associations and several lead figures in the world of creativeness.
This will also be an opportunity to further investigate the core themes of the project and of the ensuing promotional campaign.
The names of the members of the jury of experts will also be an announced, to assess and select the projects that meet the objective of a new narrative about Italian quality and attraction, in the wake of the Covid emergency, to freshly promote the image of the Country worldwide.
