Press accreditation notice – Press point Minister Di Maio – Minister of Labour (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 27 August 2021)

On Friday, 27 August 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, will meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the end of the meeting, approximately 1:00 p.m., the two ministers will hold a joint press conference.

In compliance with current legislation on social distancing, a limited number of press representatives will be allowed access to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Only one journalist per newspaper/press agency and one cameraman per TV station will be accredited.

Due to the limited space available, only the first accreditations received in chronological order will be accepted. Only the accreditations accepted will be confirmed as having access to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Those who do not receive confirmation will not be admitted.

To gain access to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, please send the green pass (proof of vaccination of recovery from infection) or the result of a negative swab (even a rapid swab) taken within the last 48 hours via e-mail.

Journalists and TV operators interested in attending the press point can request the accreditation by 10.00 a.m. on 27 August in the following way:

Sending an E-MAIL to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it, (tel. 06/3691.3432 – 06/3691.8573), with the required documentation attached (letter from the relevant newspaper and, for representatives of foreign press organisations, a Note Verbale from the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented).

Accredited journalists and TV operators may enter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the rear entrance, in Via Macchia della Farnesina, from 11.30 a.m. and no later than 12.30 p.m., after checking their body temperature and wearing a mask and the other personal protection equipment recommended by the current legislation.

It is reminded that the communication of the personal data indicated above constitutes an authorisation for their use under Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Press and Institutional Communication Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Communication, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes or in connection with the event in question.
