European Regional Meeting – OGP
Rome – 11-12 October 2022
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) – an institution that brings together 77 governments and thousands of civil society representatives to promote the themes of democratic, inclusive and accountable governance – together with the governments of Italy and Estonia, is organising the OGP European Regional Meeting on 11-12 October in Rome at the Loyola Auditorium. The event will bring together institutional representatives of OGP partner countries, members of civil society, as well as academics and journalists involved in “open government” issues, for a discussion on democratic processes, procedures and systems of government and administration in our democracies and how to make them more transparent, inclusive, participatory and accountable.
The many personalities who have already registered for the event include government Ministers, civil society leaders and influential reformers. The proceedings will be structured in keynote speeches, panels and workshops addressing crucial issues of international relevance, such as anti-corruption, digital innovation and democratic participation.
The meeting will start at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday 11 October with opening speeches by Paola Pisano, Adviser for Digital Economy and Technological Innovation of the Italian Government, Taimar Peterkop, Secretary of State of Estonia and Paola Caporossi, co-founder and Honorary President of the Ethics Foundation.

– identity document;
– letter of assignment from the newspaper to which they belong or, in the absence thereof, their professional card;
– for the representatives of foreign media: Note Verbale of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the media organisation represented.
Media representatives who have received confirmation of accreditation will have access to the Auditorium Loyola from the entrance located in Piazza della Pilotta 4 on Tuesday 11 October, from 8.40 to 9.20 a.m.
