PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE
PRESS STATEMENTS FOLLOWING THE MEETING BETWEEN THE ITALIAN DEPUTY MINISTER AND MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND THE MONGOLIAN STATE SECRETARY OF MINISTRY OF ROADS AND TRANSPORT
On Thursday, 23 January 2025, at 11:45 a.m., the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will meet at the Farnesina with the Mongolian State Secretary of Ministry of Roads and Transport, Sandagdorj Batbold.
During the meeting, an air transport agreement between Italy and Mongolia will be signed.
This agreement – the first of its kind between the two countries – will establish, once in force, a comprehensive regulatory and reference framework aimed at enabling the activation of direct air connections between Italy and Mongolia.
At the end of the meeting, press statements will be issued.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending can apply for accreditation by sending a request, by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday 23 January, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 8210 – 8573 or 3432), as follows:
For representatives of press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
For representatives of Italian press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
– a copy of an identity document;
– a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
– copy of an identity document;
– letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
The accredited press will be able to access the Farnesina from the main entrance, on the left side, from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
