Visit of Minister Antonio Tajani to the Executive Secretariat of the Central European Initiative (CEI)
(Trieste, 26 March 2025)
On 26 March 2025, at 11:00 a.m., the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, will pay an official visit to the Executive Secretariat of the Central European Initiative (CEI), located in Trieste, via Genova 9. Minister Tajani will be welcome by the CEI Secretary General, Hon. Franco Dal Mas.
The meeting is an important opportunity to deepen the CEI strategic role in strengthening cooperation between the countries of Central Eastern Europe and the Balkans, at a crucial time for stability and regional integration. The topics on the agenda include support for EU enlargement, sustainable development projects and cross-border connectivity, continued support for Ukraine and the strengthening of the CEI.
The event will be attended by many local authorities, institutional representatives and political and business leaders, testifying to its importance for the region and for international dialogue.Due to the limited availability of seats in the venue, journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the event shall apply for accreditation by sending a request to press@cei.int
