NURTURING INTERNATIONAL TALENT: THE SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE “SISTEMA ITALIA”
Farnesina, 04 March 2025
On Tuesday, 4 March 2025, at 11:00 a.m., the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will open the event “Nurturing international talent: the scholarships of the ‘Sistema Italia’” at the Farnesina, in the International Treaties Hall.
Also speaking at the event will be the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, the General Commander of the Guardia di Finanza, Andrea De Gennaro, and the President of the National Association of Bodies for the Right to University Study, Emilio Di Marzio.
Scholarships for international students are one of the key instruments for the internationalisation of Italy’s higher education system, helping to attract talented young foreigners to Italian universities while promoting the global outreach of Italian universities and academies.
During the event, the Government’s initiatives to promote scholarship programmes for international students and Italian citizens residing abroad will be presented. Particular attention will be given to the measures undertaken, in collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza, to prevent the illegitimate acquisition of scholarships, ensuring fair treatment for all university students.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending can apply for accreditation by sending a request, by 5:00 p.m. on Monday 3 March, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 8210 – 8573 – 3432 – 3078), as follows:
