PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE –

Italy-Turkey Business Dialogue Forum

(Hotel Parco dei Principi, 29 April 2025)

On Tuesday 29 April 2025 from 9.00 a.m., the Italy-Turkey Business Forum will be held at the Hotel Parco dei Principi, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Turkish Ministries of Trade and Foreign Affairs, with the collaboration of ITA and the Turkish counterpart DEIK.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, will be held behind closed doors.

From 12 noon to 4.15 p.m., the works will be open to the press. At 12.00 noon, the morning session will end with speeches by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, and the Turkish Deputy Trade Minister, Mustafa Tuzcu.

In the afternoon session, besides the main representatives of the Italian System and their Turkish counterparts, the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, and the Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacir, will also speak at the Forum.

The Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoǧan, will participate in the high-level session, at approximately 3 p.m.

The Forum, divided into sectoral meetings, will be attended by many guests including representatives of the business world, leading financial institutions and trade associations from both countries.

The plenary and high-level session will be streamed live on the Foreign Ministry’s YouTube channel.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in following the part of the event open to the press may apply for accreditation by sending a request by Monday 28 April at 4:00 p.m. to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06 3691 3432 . 3078 – 8210 or 8573), attaching the following:

for representatives of Italian press organisations:

  • copy of an identity document;
  • letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter – copy of professional identity card;

for representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

  • copy of an identity document;
  • letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
  • Verbal Note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request shall be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.

Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen may collect the badge at the Hotel Parco dei Principi, Via G. Frescobaldi n.5, from 9:30 a.m to 12 noon.
