PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE
High-Level Economic Dialogue (Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation) and Italy–India Business Forum
(Brescia, Santa Giulia Museum Complex, 5 June 2025)
On Thursday, 5 June 2025, from 9:30 a.m., the High-Level Economic Dialogue (Joint Committee for Economic Cooperation) and the Italy–India Business Forum will take place in Brescia at the Santa Giulia Museum Complex, Via Dei Musei 81/B.
The two segments, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, will bring together institutions and businesses from both countries to continue strengthening bilateral economic and trade cooperation, following on from the Italy–India Scientific and Technological Business Forum held in New Delhi on 10–11 April.
The Business Forum will open with thematic roundtables involving Italian and Indian companies, associations, and agencies. This will be followed by a plenary session inaugurated by the two Ministers, which will be open to the press.
A joint press conference with Ministers Tajani and Goyal is scheduled to take place at approximately 3:00 p.m., at the conclusion of the events.
Journalists interested in attending the event can apply for accreditation by sending a request by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 4 June via e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. +39 06/3691-8210-3432-8573 or 3078), as follows:
For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
– a copy of the identity document,
– a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
– a copy of the identity document,
– letter from the newspaper of affiliation,
– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
Journalists who receive confirmation of their accreditation at the same email address used for the request must report between 9:00 and 9:45 a.m. for the necessary security checks and to collect their badges at the main entrance of the Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia, Via Dei Musei 81/B. Badges must be collected in person upon presentation of a valid ID document.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
