PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE

Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025

(Rome, 10–11 July 2025)

On Thursday 10 and Friday 11 July 2025, the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 (URC2025) will take place in Rome at the Roma Convention Center La Nuvola, co-organised by Italy and Ukraine.

The Conference is the main annual event dedicated to supporting Ukraine, and it continues the series of high-level events dedicated to Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction, following those held in Lugano (2022), London (2023) and Berlin (2024). The key goal of the event is to raise awareness and mobilize continued international support and investments for the recovery and rebuild, reconstruction, reform, and modernization of Ukraine. The Conference will bring together global political leaders, representatives of international organizations and financial institutions, private sector actors, municipal and regional authorities, civil society, and the Ukrainian diaspora.

Discussions will focus on four key thematic areas (“Dimensions”): Business Dimension, Human Dimension, Local and Regional Dimension, and EU Dimension. A Recovery Forum and a Business Fair are also envisaged as part of the URC2025: the Recovery Forum will be dedicated to the most relevant economic sectors of the recovery and reconstruction process, and the Business Fair will feature booths for Italian, Ukrainian and international companies.

Advance accreditation is mandatory.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending must apply for accreditation by midnight (local time) on Thursday 3 July, via the dedicated portal: https://www.urc2025.it/mediahome.aspx, uploading the required documentation. Media representatives of Ukrainian nationality who are resident in Ukraine are invited to register by Wednesday 18 June.

Please note that a maximum of two journalists per media outlet can be accredited.

Media representatives are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.

It is recommended to check in advance whether a visa is required to enter Italy by consulting the following link: https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home.aspx. Visa requirements must be fulfilled before arrival in Italy.

Badges for journalists, photographers and cameramen whose accreditation is confirmed by email will be issued in Rome at the Palazzo dei Congressi (EUR), Piazza John Fitzgerald Kennedy, no.1.

Please note that during the Conference, the Public Security Authorities will implement measures limiting the circulation of vehicles and the use of parking spaces in the areas adjacent to the Roma Convention Center La Nuvola. Further information will be provided in due course.

Additional information on the programme and logistical details will be available on the URC website, where the Media Handbook will also be published.
