Press accreditation note
Access to the United Nations High-Level Week
(New York, 22-30 september 2025)
Journalists, photographers and cameramen who are not already in possession of a UN accreditation and wish to cover the proceedings of the high-level week of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York (22–30 September 2025) must apply for accreditation in order to receive an access badge for the UN Headquarters, following these procedures:
Please submit the following documentation by Wednesday, 10 September 2025, to the email address press.italyun@esteri.it:
- A copy of the passport;
- A letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation;
- A digital passport-sized photo meeting the specifications listed at this link: https://www.un.org/en/media/accreditation/photospecs.shtml ;
- A list of the equipment to be used, in English.
Accredited media will subsequently receive logistical information regarding badge collection and access to the UN Headquarters.
