PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE
Meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,
Antonio Tajani, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud
(Villa Madama, 28 August 2025)
On Thursday 28 August 2025 at 12:30 p.m., a meeting will take place at Villa Madama between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
Accredited media representatives will be able to film and photograph the arrival of the authorities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, statements to the press will be released.
Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the event can apply for accreditation by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 27 August, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it (tel. 06/3691 8210, 3432, 8573 or 8573), as follows:
For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
– a copy of the identity document,
– a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.
For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
– a copy of the identity document,
– letter from the newspaper of affiliation,
– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.
For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.
Accreditation badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance, left side, on the day of the event (28 August) between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m.
As Villa Madama cannot be reached by private transport, accredited journalists will be taken to Villa Madama by shuttle service from the main entrance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (round trip), operating until the end of the event.
Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) by the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.
