 PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE UPDATE
OICE Report 2025 – The Presence of Engineering, Architecture and Technical Consultancy Firms Abroad
(27 October, 4:30 p.m.  – Villa Madama)

On Monday, 27 October, 2025, from 4:30 p.m., Villa Madama will host the OICE Report 2025 on Foreign Activities (Association of Engineering, Architecture, and Technical-Economic Consulting Organizations – OICE), which provides an overview of the activities of Italian engineering, architecture, and technical consulting firms abroad.

The proceedings will be introduced by the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Maria Tripodi, and OICE President Giorgio Lupoi.

The program will focus on the presentation of the OICE Report 2025 by CER (European Research Center). This will be followed by two in-depth sessions: the first on “Engineering and Infrastructure. The Italian System Abroad: Guidelines and Strategies,” with contributions from the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), SACE, SIMEST, CDP, and ANCE; the second, entitled “Climate Change, AI and Digitalization, Local Communities: Challenges for Italian Design Worldwide” featuring contributions by OICE member companies, some of which will connect remotely from construction sites abroad, along with officials from the commercial offices of Italy’s diplomatic and consular Missions in the region.

Established in 1965, OICE, a trade association affiliated with Confindustria, now brings together over 450 companies and promotes their interests and activities in Italy and in 150 countries in collaboration with the Foreign Ministry, the diplomatic and consular network, and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), regularly contributing to the Foreign Ministry’s growth diplomacy initiatives. OICE holds the vice-Presidency of EFCA – the European federation of the sector – and, since last September, the Presidency of FIDIC, the “International Federation of Consulting Engineers,” which will host its annual Conference in Italy for the first time in 2027.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen already accredited for the event may collect their accreditation badge in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, main entrance, left side, from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m.

As it is not possible to reach Villa Madama with private vehicles, accredited journalists will be accompanied to Villa Madama by shuttle service operating from the Foreign Ministry (round trip), available until the end of the event.
