OICE Report 2025 – The presence of engineering, architecture and technical consultancy firms abroad
(27 October, 4:30 p.m. – Villa Madama)
On Monday, 27 October 2025, from 4:30 p.m., Villa Madama will host the presentation of the OICE Report 2025 on Foreign Activities (Association of Engineering, Architecture and Technical-Economic Consultancy Organisations, OICE), which provides an overview of the work of Italian engineering, architecture and technical consultancy firms abroad. The event will be opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the President of OICE, Giorgio Lupoi.
The programme will focus on the presentation of the OICE Report 2025, prepared by CER (Centro Europa Ricerche). This will be followed by two in-depth sessions: – the first on “Engineering and infrastructure: the Italian economic system abroad – guidelines and strategies” with contributions from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Italian Trade Agency, SACE, SIMEST, CDP and ANCE; – the second entitled: “Climate change, AI and digitalisation, local communities: challenges for Italian design worldwide”, featuring interventions by OICE member companies, some of which will connect remotely from construction sites abroad, together with officials from the commercial offices of Italy’s diplomatic and consular representations.
Founded in 1965, OICE, a trade association affiliated with Confindustria, now brings together over 450 companies and promotes their interests and activities in Italy and 150 countries, in coordination with MAECI, the diplomatic-consular network, and Italian Trade Agency, regularly contributing to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ growth diplomacy initiatives. OICE holds the vice-presidency of EFCA, the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations, and since last September, the presidency of FIDIC, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, whose annual conference it will host in Italy for the first time in 2027.
