The Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid, in cooperation with the Teatros del Canal, will present the choreographic work of Siro Guglielmi, from 6 to 9 p.m. on 18 and 19 January and, on 20 January, a demo of the creative process of siro’ surfing, a work created during the choreographer’s artist-in-residence period at the Centro Danza Canal.
The company
Siro Guglielmi danced in the Junior BallettO Di ToscanA dance company directed by Cristina Bozzolini, and worked with choreographers Eugenio Scigliano, Eugenio Buratti, Arianna Benedetti, Francesco Nappa and Fabrizio Monteverde. More of his works include: the Magda for MaggioDanza project directed by Davide Bombana, a Margarita Makridou production for Dance Cyprus, dancing with the Balletto di Roma dance company, directed by Roberto Casarotto, and contributing to the choreographies of Alessandro Sciarroni, Itamar Serussi and Chris Haring.
