The Italian Ambassador in Turkmenistan, Diego Ungaro, hosted in the Ambassador’s Residence the new edition of the informal Italian-Turkmen Business Forum. The Forum was attended by the Italian Foreign Trade Agency ICE and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and of the companies and businesses active in the industrial, technological and commercial relations between the two Countries.
The forum, which mainly focuses on the conduct of business in Turkmenistan, also offered the opportunity to give an update on the latest developments in bilateral economic and commercial relations. In particular, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which offers customised credit lines for local SMEs, and Turkish Airlines, which sponsors different cultural activities organised by the Embassy, delivered specific presentations on their respective fields of activity for the benefit of the numerous corporate representatives and the businessmen active in the industrial, technological and commercial relations between the two Countries.
