The creative works of Bruno Munari, one of the most important Italian artists of the 20th century, will be on show at Sao Paulo’s Museo da Casa Brasileira. A selection of 117 of his artworks offers an overview of his artistic production from the 1930s to the end of his career. The opening of the exhibition ‘Bruno Munari: Change is the Only Constant of the Universe’, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute, was preceded by a lecture by art historian Alberto Salvatori on the creative career of the Italian artist who also dedicated his life to design, education, sculpture and all forms of graphic design in the unrelenting pursuit of new visual effects. In fact, Munari was one of the leading figures in 20th century world of design and graphic design thanks to his multifaceted research into the theme of movement, light and developing the creativity and imagination of children through game playing. The lecture was also attended by the Italian Consul General, Filippo La Rosa.
