Jakarta: artists of the ‘Luciano Pavarotti’ Foundation in concert

The Aula Simfonia Jakarta hosts a concert by the artists of the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation who will perform together with Indonesian singer Anggun to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Indonesia. Organised by the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute and born out of an idea of the President of the Foundation, Nicoletta Mantovani Pavarotti, the event represents the world première of this cooperation which aims to present the unprecedented combination of famous Opera arias and traditional Italian songs and the great hits of this Indonesian singer. The aim is to expand the knowledge and enjoyment of these musical genres among and ever-larger public, a commitment of which Pavarotti was a forerunner.
