Giovane Poesia Italiana, the video in 4 languages for IICs

The Giovane Poesia Italiana anthology is an e-book published in five languages, and in which twenty Italian poets under 35 are represented at the time of publication.

The Pordenonelegge Foundation, in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institutes of Madrid, Paris, London and Berlin, has produced a video in four languages involving seven of the young poets in the collection: Tommaso Di Dio, Marco Pelliccioli, Maddalena Lotter, Eleonora Rimolo, Bernardo De Luca, Laura Di Corcia and Gian Maria Annovi, each one with their own poetry that is also translated into Spanish, French, English and German.

A commitment of the Pordenonelegge Foundation to give voice to the young authors of our time, and to prove that poetry never has borders, not even in the times of Covid. “The project – as explained by the artistic director of Pordenonelegge, Gian Mario Villalta, and the curator of the Anthology, Roberto Cescon – will offer in the meantime a taste of the budding poetic production of our country, waiting to be able to tell it live in the coming months, as soon as possible”.

“A further step in the programme of “internationalisation” of our activities – the president of Fondazione Pordenonelegge, Giovanni Pavan, adds – in synergy with cultural institutions with which we have been collaborating for a long time to create projects capable of speaking to the European public”.
