Kyiv: Premier meets Ambassador and Italian companies

Prime Minister Shmyhal met in Kyiv with the Italian Ambassador to Ukraine, Davide La Cecilia. A delegation of Italian entrepreneurs to take stock of the economic relations between the two countries when, with the “Phase 2” of the Covid-19 pandemic, economic activities resumed. “Italy is one of Ukraine’s first trading partners at a global and European level, and we have been aiming to increase investment and economic cooperation for some time,” said Ambassador La Cecilia. “The restart will take place with a communication strategy and a series of important financial instruments, as illustrated by the Prime Minister – added the Ambassador – to develop the internationalization of our companies and their consolidation on this market, with particular attention to the fabric of SMEs that represent, both in Italy and Ukraine, a large part of the productive fabric.
