A series of videoconferences was held in Madrid to illustrate to Spanish industry operators the investment opportunities in Italy in the aerospace, rail logistics and renewable energy sectors, organised by the Italian Embassy in Spain and the Ice Investment Unit in Madrid, in close collaboration with the Foreign Ministry, the ICE Investment Coordination Office and Invitalia. The Italian economic system’s commitment to attracting and supporting Spanish investments was underlined by the Italian Ambassador in Madrid, Riccardo Guariglia.
This first series of meetings – Ambassador Guariglia said – have sparked a great deal of attention among Spanish businesses and so, together with ICE and Invitalia, we intend to kick start a partnership aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation between our two countries. Italy can offer important opportunities in this direction, which can be further strengthened by the National Plan to relaunch our economy, also through the use of the European Recovery Fund”. In the coming months – he concluded – we intend to boost this process through focus meetings with Spanish businesses with whom we have come into contact. We also intend to continue the cycle of seminars, extending it to other sectors of strategic interest for our country”.
