The course “Lina, una biografia” in Sao Paulo

The life and works of the architect Lina Bo Bardi (1914-1992) are the subject of a course organized by Centro Pesquisa e Formação of SESC (the Brazilian Social Service of Commerce organization), in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture of Sao Paulo.

During this series of lessons entitled “Lina, A Biography”, students will learn about the life and works of Lina Bo Bardi, the Brazilian architect born and trained in Rome, responsible for the design and construction of buildings like the Masp, the Sesc Pompeia, and the Solar do Unhão.

The course will be taught by the writer Francesco Perrotta-Bosch, author of “Lina: a Biography ” (Todavia, 2021). Classes will be held every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12:00, starting August 18. Students can enroll on the website of Centro Pesquisa e Formação
