“Presenza Italiana in Peru”, an exhibition of watercolours

The Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima have organised an exhibition of watercolours entitled “Presenza Italiana in Peru” (Italian Presence in Peru)”.

Ten buildings representing the Italian presence in the South American country are the protagonists of the cultural event set up at Parque Tamayo in San Isidro. The initiative was organised in collaboration with the Municipality of San Isidro to mark the Bicentenary of Peru’s Independence.

The author of the works on display is the Italian-Peruvian artist José Luis Vértiz, who has lived in Rome for over 20 years and currently lives in Peru.

The exhibition – inaugurated on 13 August – will remain open to the public until 12 September.
