Warsaw, meeting with Egyptologist Massimiliano Nuzzolo

A series of meetings, “Declinato in polacco (Declined in Polish)”, dedicated to Italian scholars in Poland, is scheduled at the Italian Cultural Institute in Warsaw. The initiative intends to underline the importance of the willingness to dialogue and get involved through the experience of professional and research paths in a new country.
The first event is scheduled for today, Wednesday, 15 September (6 pm), with the guest Massimiliano Nuzzolo, a researcher at the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Egyptologist and author of numerous publications on the subject.
On this occasion, Nuzzolo will talk about his professional career in Italy and abroad and the discoveries of some fascinating archaeological novelties related to the land of the Nile. He will describe, in particular, the Palermo Stone and the excavation of a unique monument that characterises the history of the oldest Egyptian religion, namely the “solar temples”, the first sanctuaries dedicated to the cult of the sun god.
The meeting will be held in Italian with simultaneous translation into Polish.
Participation is free, but reservation is required
