On the occasion of the 17th Giornata del Contemporaneo, the Italian Cultural Institute of Bogotá in collaboration with MAMbo (Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotà) has organised a lecture on “Gian Maria Tosatti and the Italian Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale” with Eugenio Viola, Head Curator of MAMbo and Curator of the Italian Pavilion at the next Biennale.
The 59th edition of the prestigious review will take place in April 2022. For the first time, the Italian Pavilion will be represented by a single artist, Gian Maria Tosatti, whose project, presented by Eugenio Viola, was chosen by the Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini from a shortlist of ten candidates.
The conference, in Spanish, will be held on Friday 10 at 15.00 Colombian (21.00 in Italy) and will be broadcast live on Facebook on the Institute’s page. (https://www.facebook.com/iic.bogota).
