On the 1st and 2nd of December in Helsinki, Italy took part in the 2021 edition of ‘Slush’, an international event for start-ups and players in the new technology sector. As in the previous editions (last year, the event was cancelled due to the pandemic), our country was the protagonist thanks to the presence of a dedicated space managed by the Stockholm Italian Trade Agency (ICE) Office. The space hosted ten Italian start-ups operating in various fields ranging from agri-food innovation to environmental sustainability, personal data protection to artificial intelligence, and the proposal of innovative solutions for the health sector.
“Slush” 2021 attracted around 8800 visitors and 1800 start-ups from many countries to the Finnish capital, thus confirming its role as a privileged platform for high-tech innovation. On the eve of “Slush” official opening, a reception for Italian start-ups was organised at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador in Finland. Numerous investors, representatives of the information world and entrepreneurs interested in interacting with the actors of the Italian innovation system took part in the event.
