On the occasion of Filming Italy Los Angeles, the Italian Cultural Institute scheduled a meeting with the director and screenwriter Gabriele Muccino, who will present his new book “La vita addosso. Io, il cinema e tutto il resto. Un’autobiografia” [Life on me. Me, cinema and everything else. An autobiography] published by Utet. The book is written in the form of an interview with the journalist Gabriele Niola and tells the most important moments in Muccino’s film career, fun stories on his encounters with great stars like Al Pacino, Tom Cruise, Madonna and Sean Connery, but also the most painful and personal events in his life. The livestreaming presentation will take place on 2 March and Muccino will be introduced by Gian Maria Annovi, Associate Professor of Italian and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. At the end, the Italian Cultural Institute will give the director the IIC Los Angeles Creativity Award.
