The Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires and the Fundación Cinemateca Argentina organize a cycle of film screenings titled “Viva Fellini”, that will open on 10 April and close on 15 May.
The cycle includes three recently restored feature films of the Italian filmmaking master and two documentaries that give an in-depth description of the creative world of one of the greatest film directors of the second half of the 20th century. The playbill includes: “8 e mezzo”, starring Marcello Mastroianni, Sandra Milo, Claudia Cardinale; “I vitelloni”, featuring Franco Interlenghi, Alberto Sordi, Leopoldo Trieste and “La dolce vita”, with Marcello Mastroianni, Anita Ekberg, Anouk Aimée. The documentaries are “Fellinopolis” by Silvia Giulietti, and ‘’The Truth About ‘La dolce vita’’ by Giuseppe Pedersoli.
