As part of the San José European Film Festival, the Embassy of Italy to Costa Rica organised an authentically Italian evening on 25 July, based on Italy’s music and culture. The Embassy’s initiatives accompanied the screening of “Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri”, a film by Stefano Cipani about family and relationships between siblings. The screening took place in San José’s Cine Magaly.
Members of the local Dante Alighieri Society were among those attending the event, which included a presentation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s cultural initiatives and publications.
The public clearly appreciated the Italian music and the Dante Alighieri Society’s educational offering. At the end of the film a prizes draw was held, with the winners receiving Italian books in both the Italian and Spanish languages.
