In Montevideo, the Italian Embassy in Uruguay and the Italy-Uruguay Chamber of Commerce presented an overview of the Italian Stand for the 2022 edition of the biggest fair in Uruguay – the Rural del Prado Expo – to the “Made in Italy” businesses operating in the country.
This will be the third time in a row that it has taken part at the event, scheduled for September next, and Italy’s stand will be inspired by the “BeIT” campaign launched by the Farnesina and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) with the slogan “Italy is simply extraordinary” developed around seven pillars: creativity, passion, tradition, style, innovation, diversity and sustainability.
Opening the meeting, ambassador Giovanni Iannuzzi said that “the Embassy’s aim at the Prado Expo is to ensure maximum added value to the businesses that will be with us at the Italian stand this year, presenting “made in Italy” in an original, innovative way, highlighting its values, talent and extraordinary potential”.
Businesses that have already confirmed their participation next September include Alfa Romeo (Alfalíder), Lavazza (Cafémax), Benelli (Deceleste), Cupana, Altama, Mercatino, Goodhouse and La Nueva Roma.
