“Tempo sospeso. Inserzioni culturali mediterranee” (“Time Suspended. Mediterranean Cultural Interventions”) is an event organised on 22 September at the Royal Villa of Durëss by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana in partnership with the Italian Embassy, the Department of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, the Municipality of Durëss, and the Harabel and BERC Centres.
The event aims to attract attention on the Villa, an important Albanian architectural landmark rich in Italian stylistic elements and references. The Villa, which has long been in disuse, will be enlivened by a number of events that will make it possible to visit a place of great architectural splendour and landscapes. The event’s programme schedules a lecture by architect Paolo Di Nardo on “Design. Mediterranean Mutation”, a concert with music by Vivaldi and Tartini performed by Abigela Voshtina at the violin and Jusuf Beshiri at the harpsichord, enriched by artistic interventions of Harabel Contemporary.
