Italy took part, in Helsinki, in the 2022 edition of “Slush”, an appointment of global appeal for players in the global innovation ecosystem, which this year attracted 4,600 start-ups, 2,600 investors and 400 accredited media.
The Italian System was the protagonist with a participation of adequate profile and visibility, thanks to the increased commitment of the Stockholm ICE Office and the Italian Embassy. The traditional exhibition area dedicated to Italy was, in fact, enlarged and redesigned to host the 29 participating start-ups, which almost tripled compared to last year’s edition.
At the same time, the organisation of a specific public presentation session, officially included in the programme of “Slush”, offered a further showcase for Italian start-ups operating in very different fields, ranging from innovation for finance and insurance to solutions for the healthcare sector, from cybersecurity to the entertainment and games industry, from digital education to artificial intelligence, from agribusiness to retail and mobility solutions. As usual, on the eve of the opening of “Slush”, a reception was also organised at the Ambassador’s Residence to welcome Italian start-ups, in the presence of investors interested in interacting with the players of our innovation system.
