Within the framework of the second edition of the Italian Film Festival in Indonesia, scheduled from 21 to 29 January 2023, the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute of Jakarta are presenting a selection of eight quality Italian films produced between 2021 and 2022 and awarded in the most important national and international festivals, in collaboration with Cinecittà.

Compared to the previous edition, this year’s audience will be able to see the films in person, with screenings at CGV Grand Indonesia, the Italian Cultural Institute of Jakarta and the Institut Français d’Indonésie in Yogyakarta.

The selected films are intended to tell the story of contemporary Italy in its many facets. Here are the films that will be screened at the Festival: Nostalgia by Mario Martone; Leonara Addio by Paolo Taviani; Il Colibrì by Francesca Archibugi; Californie by Alessandro Cassigoli and Casey Kauffman; Piccolo corpo by Laura Samani; Futura by Pietro Marcello, Francesco Munzi and Alice Rohrwacher; C’è un soffio di vita solo by Matteo Botrugno and Daniele Coluccini; Il legionario by Hleb Papou.
