The experimental public-private partnership campaign “El diseño italiano a pie de calle”, promoted by the Italian Embassy in Madrid, has been launched. The campaign, in collaboration with local retailers of Italian products, will bring Italian Design Day to the streets of Spain until 20 March.
Besides promoting Italian Design Day and Made in Italy, the initiative aims to create a network of Italian design shops in Spain that would be willing to collaborate with the Embassy and the Italian consular network on other innovation initiatives.
In addition to some special discounts, participating shops will display Italian Design Day decals on their windows, while their customers will receive stickers with the IDD logo and a leaflet with the annual programme for the promotion of Italian design in Spain by the Embassy, the Consulate General in Barcelona, the two Italian Cultural Institutes and the ICE office in Madrid.
