The exhibition “Massimo Listri: Italian Wonder”, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington in collaboration with the Embassy, opened in Piazza Italia, in the heart of the Italian Embassy in Washington.
“Timeless pictures that bring masterpieces of Italian architecture into the 21st century” is how the Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Mariangela Zappia described the selection of pictures by the Italian photographer Listri with their tale of interiors, perspectives of palaces, museums and other extraordinary places in Italy.
Ambassador Zappia pointed out that “Massimo Listri has a unique talent for depicting art, using perspectives and bringing to life the interiors of the most beautiful Italian palaces through photos that themselves become art”. Listri’s goal is to seek musical harmony and the divine perfection of architecture, pursuing the music rooted and frozen in spaces.
The exhibition, curated by Architect Renata Cristina Mazzantini, will remain open until 16 May.
